Cloth Bags - B.Y.O.B. y is this so hard?

I still can't believe how slow we are to change. People have brought their bags to market for centuries and in only a few short years, with billions of plastic bags, we don't know how to do that. Hard to get in the habit, but ridiculous to keep on destroying everything for that learned convenience. Younger people will be the best to help us change and yet 'paper or plastic' is all they've know their entire lives.
