Hi,
This looks like a really interesting site as many of us seem to want to help and need a bit of guidance as to how to begin. I have been a practicing attorney in the commercial lending area for 25 years. I founded my own firm 20 years ago but now it is time for a change. I would love to work in some capacity, in the New York City/Long Island area, addressing environmental issues. I believe that my legal background and management skills would be an asset but I am unsure where to begin. Any ideas? Thanks!
I am looking for a job in the area of ocean policy/coastal management. I have a Master's Degree in Oceanography and also one in Public Policy Analysis. With these two degrees I have the background to relate to people in both the policy field and the scientific community and feel that I would be a good bridge between them. I would enjoy working in the southeast United States, but am willing to work anywhere within the United States. Please feel free to contact me if you have a need for someone with this type of background.
I look forward to finding an opportunity for our family of four to enjoy. Both of our boys were born on the hawai'ian islands, so we have instilled the need for conservation in our sons already. We love to travel and hope to find new adventures at every turn. I will check back periodically to see what is being posted.
I have been teaching informal science education for K-12 school groups and family, Scout, and community groups for 15 years now. I am now in search for a job that emphasizes environment, conservation and stewardship.
I really want to get my feet wet and see what's out there! I live in the DC Metro area and somewhat lost on what sort of volunteering I can do that can get my foot in the door for my ambitions. Thanks! indoor tanning lotion - sunbed tanning - tanning bulbs - tanning bed lotion
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Environmental and Renewable Resource Economics but would actually love to go back to school and get my Masters in either Environmental Management or something within the Public Policy field. In the meantime, I really want to get my feet wet and see what's out there! I can see this section growing immensely. I am officially in a job search mode and would love to utilize my experience in a ECO friendly products or services company. My background includes a BS in Electronic Engineer from Wentworth Institute of Technology (Boston, MA). Recent continuing education classes involving Accounting and Systems related from Northeastern Univ. and Bentley College. Prior work experience involves Production manufacturing of electronic devices and components industry (documentation / support specialist). I also have been involved with product pricing for 4+ years within the Finance dept., handling pricing requirements (through research and system analysis). Attention to detail and providing solutions to customers.
Seeking ECO / Green job related to products or services. At a recent Greenjobsnow.org rally (9/28/08), I was handed a sheet containing job seeker related websites: Here are a couple; www.renewableenergyjobs.net, www.environmentalcareer.com, www.ecoemploy.com, to name a few. Does anyone have any experience with these or others to share?
Thanks!
Hello! I stumbled upon this site and figured it would be worth posting to see if anybody could direct me in my search for an internship. I'm a 3rd year student studying mechanical engineering at McGill University. I'm looking for a job/internship this summer in the San Francisco bay area where I can apply engineering in an environmental context. I am well aware that the bay area is a veritable hub for pilot projects and "green technology" in the United States, but I seem to be having a hard time putting my finger on particular groups/organizations/companies to whom I can apply to be an intern. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
NICK
Hi,
I'm currently a sophmore student here in Utah, I am studying Economics and minoring in Earth Science. I am looking for a job or an internship for this summer in a field that is related to the environment. I really want to work with an environmental consulting company. Any advice or ideas would be great. Thanks.
Thanks for your post!!! This information will help those in need of this thing. Well this would be a more sufficient thing for the consumers. Is this for the improvement of the service of FedEx? All you have to do is walk into a FedEx store with your resume on paper or CD, and they will print you up 25 copies on professional stock free of charge, which is nice – hopefully all those copies won’t go to waste. Free professional printing will sure look better than regular old copy machine or home printer resumes, which makes this free resume printing all the more special. Free resume printing would be help for a lot of job seekers, who don’t want to get a cash advance in order to get their resumes printed up professionally. That is the reason why FedEx is offering free resume printing for those who order it on March 10th, 2009.
