Hundreds of private e-mails and documents hacked from a computer server at a British university are causing a stir among global warming skeptics, who say they show that climate scientists conspired to overstate the case for a human influence on climate change.
The e-mails, attributed to prominent American and British climate researchers, include discussions of scientific data and whether it should be released, exchanges about how best to combat the arguments of skeptics, and casual comments — i…

The land was owned by the local authority but had been unused for some time. We approached the authorities with a plan for use of the land and they accepted this. My wife is an engineer working in the construction industry, she designed us a building , we applied for planning pe…

As I was driving down my alley this morning I was astonished at what I saw. Today is pick up day for our city recyclables. And the number of residents I saw that didn't have blue bags or green recycle containers in the alley for pick up really started to tick me off. How hard is it to sperate your recyclables in your home? Is it pure laziness on the publics part? Good grief, if I can do it, then anyone can do it.
We throw about 3 bags of regular trash every 2 weeks in our home and throw about 3…

Dear Eco.org friends,
I recently got involved with a company out of Orange Beach, Fl callled KVAR. They make capacitors for homes or commercial applications. I put one on my house in March and the kilowatt reduction on my electric bill has been phenomenal (ie: 27% decrease in June, 19% decrease in July, & a 15% decrease in August compared to last year). Capacitors are simply energy storage units that recycle the current as needed to all the motors in your home or business.
If any of you are…
